Cuando llega diciembre la casa se convierte más que nunca en un templo. En el calor del hogar nos sentimos seguros y a salvo de los días oscuros. Las reuniones se vuelven más íntimas alrededor del fuego y la calma que nos trae el invierno hace que dediquemos más tiempo a actividades que nos inspiren durante la estación fría.
La Navidad es la culminación de un ciclo, el tiempo en que el sol apenas solo unas horas nos dá su calor antes de que los días vuelvan a crecer de nuevo. De manera tradicional celebramos el eterno renacer. Personalmente es un tiempo de ritos y celebraciones que me encanta. Los ritos antiguos dan estabilidad a nuestra percepción del tiempo y nos acercan a nuestra comunidad. Me gusta traer el bosque a casa creando con elementos naturales mis ornamentos tradicionales, guirnaldas y coronas de adviento. Dedicar tiempo a los amigos y familia mimando a quienes queremos con deliciosas recetas propias de la estación a la luz de las velas.

Gatherings become even more intimate around the fire, and the calmness that winter brings makes us dive into inspiring activities during the cold season.
Christmas represents the end of a natural cycle, the time when the sun almost disappears before the days will start growing again. Traditionally we celebrate eternal rebirth. Personally, it is a season full of ancestral rituals and celebrations that I love so much. Old rituals and traditions give stability to our perception of time and they keep us close to our communities. I like to bring the forest into my home by creating my ornaments with natural elements, garlands, and wreaths. It is a season to spend time with family and friends, pampering them with delicious recipes under the candle’s light.
This year I created a set of handprinted ornaments that you can send by post to the one you love with some beautiful words. Those words will last forever as a memory from a time, because nobody will remember a conversation on a digital platform, but they will keep somewhere a letter handwriten with love.
